Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman Sandy Sanderson (Russell Hayden) is given
the task of rounding up a gang of fur thieves led by his twin brother
Johnny (Russell Hayden). The brother, by masquerading as Sandy in a Mountie
uniform, puts suspicion of fur stealing and murder on Sandy. Sandy narrowly
escapes a lynching before escaping and bringing his brother and the rest of

The Independent Smelting Company is being forced out of business through ore shipments being hijacked while on the way from the various mines. Ma Donovan, owner of the Elkhorn Mine, asks for help from Texas Rangers Tex Wyatt, Jim Steele and Panhandle Perkins. They learn from Frank Burke, manager of the smelter, that if he cannot get ore he will be forced to close, and the miners will have to do business with the Rio Grande Corporation owned by Dan Wakely. Joan Manning, owner of the smelter, arrives from the east, with her fiancĂ©e Paul Jackson and, acting on his advice, intends to sell the smelter to Wakely’s company. At a meeting, with the Rangers present, Joan instructs Paul to prepare an inventory of the plant for the sale, and he remarks that it is practically bankrupt. Tex suggests that the miners use the remark by Jackson to declare it bankrupt and appoint a receiver. [...]

Having been sent to prison by his look-alike cousin Billy Carson, Jim is
back as the head of a gang of outlaws. When his man Matt gets the job of
bossing Foster’s trail drive, he goes after the herd. When Billy
interferes, he has him captured and dressed in Billy’s clothes, he wounds
Foster and lets Foster’s daughter Helen see him. Then he has Matt ride into

Sheriff Bill Jones, in the line of duty, kills outlaw Joe Land and adopts
his young son, Tim. They come upon a former silver boomtown, reputed to be
haunted, whose only inhabitant is Hiram McDuff, a friend of Bill’s. Ranch
owner Joan Stanley hires Bill and Tim. Her father has been killed by the
gang of Wolf Larson. By mistake, McDuff hires the Larson gang on as ranch
hands for Joan. They plan to steal the stock while Bill is away. Tim
overhears the plot and informs Bill. Bill and Tim use ghost makeup,
skeleton sheets (even outfitting their horses with skeleton-looking
blankets) and tricks to rout the superstitious gang members… Written by Les Adams
