Struggling artist sells his soul to the devil when he buys a severed hand that once belonged to a monk. He winds up getting all of his worldly desires and then gives them back in order to save his soul.

After a bitter breakup with his girlfriend, a photojournalist takes an assignment to an area in the Pyrenees Mountains. On his way, he meets a beautiful writer whom he convinces to join him. They stop at an ancient hotel and hear rumors that the mountain area is haunted by a coven of witches, but proceed there anyway.

A young coed (Nan Barlow) uses her winter vacation to research a paper on witchcraft in New England. Her professor recommends that she spend her time in a small village called Whitewood. He originally cam from that village so he also recommends she stay at the “Raven’s Inn,” run by a Mrs. Newlis. She gets to the village and notices some weird happenings, but things begin to happen in earnest when she finds herself “marked” for sacrifice by the undead coven of witches. It seems that the innkeeper is actually the undead spirit of Elizabeth Selwyn, and the “guests” at the inn are the other witches who have come to celebrate the sacrifice on Candalmas Eve. As one of them said when Nan (Venetia Stevenson) walked away, “HE will be PLEASED.”

Each of the beautiful hellcat’s victims dies in interesting ways, including the one who sent her to hell in the first place. He too becomes a worker for the big-D, who gives the couple the formula for nuclear weapons with the instructions that they are to pass it around. They do so and soon Hell is filled to the brimstone with tormented souls.

A guy and four of his friends visit his crippled uncle, a taxidermist who lives with his housekeeper next to a movie set. Pretty soon people start being killed in the manner they are in the script of the movie being filmed next door.
