Somewhere in south west Texas, where a christian cult is said to have resided in the past, a deputy sheriff investigates a number of suspicious deaths.

A notorious outlaw being escorted to prison by a homesteader and his wife turns out to have satanic powers. He uses them on the man’s wife to try to possess her and help him escape.

When government attorney Mike Mandell (Stacy Keach, Jr.) begins to suffer from a mental disorder that periodically transforms him into another mobster personality known as “Sonny,” his strange behavior doesn’t escape the notice of narcotics agent Gordon Pankey (Harris Yulin). As Gordon observes Mike, the man becomes more and more paranoid that he is being watched. The score for this film was created by the jazz group Weather Report.

A woman attorney and her young associate defend a wealthy contractor accused of murdering an ironworker who was having an affair with the contractor’s daughter.

When the police discover that their motorcycles are concealing heroin, Waco (Robert Porter) and his motorcycle gang hides out in a desert convent. A highway patrolman (Billy ‘Green’ Bush) hunts down the gang after they kidnap a nun, Sister Anna (Tippy Walker) and flee the convent. Soon Waco and the young nun fall in love and she is forced to decide whether or not to leave the church for him.

A documentary about old action movies and action heroes with John Wayne as the center piece. Although interesting it is filled more with action sequences from movies then information about the heroes. Running time is approximately 100 minutes.
