Song composer Howard Green is frustrated by disturbances his wife, in-laws, and landlord while writing his latest song.

A man runs out the stage door of a burlesque theater, followed by billowing smoke. Firefighters run up. One places a ladder up to a second-story window beside the door, and he helps several women wearing burlesque costumes to climb down. On the other side of the door, a firefighter coaxes a woman out of a window. Two fire fighters enter the building and emerge soon after carrying a woman who has collapsed, overcome by smoke.

The dapper Max is excited to sneak shots of a Rubenesque beauty, because he’s bored, with nothing else to photograph on the deserted French beach. But she pays him off, not to even peak at her in her bathing suit. As she’s attempting to get ashore, she desperately tries to avoid his snapping away. Swimming back out, she disappears under the ocean, driving Max frantic with guilt.

Perez plays all the parts in this tale of a lonely wife that invites a stranger into her flat while her hunter husband is away, only for him to return and chase the lover down the street, into a field, and onto a pier.

Needy Ham Hamilton is mistaken for a dog show judge and he takes advantage of the situation for material gain.

On a sailing trip, sweethearts Bobby and Gloria arrive in a very sinister-looking India, where an evil rajah attempts to force Gloria into his harem.

Max needs a tonic after an illness, and the doctor prescribes a Bordeaux glass of wine three times a day. One proves to be enough, as Max drinks a quart glass of wine and proceeds to get into trouble.
