The title of this short pretty much sums up the plot: Perez stands to inherit a lot of money if he is married, so he asks fellow lineman Tom Murray and his wife, Babette Perez, to pretend she is married to Perez. As this is a comedy, you will not be surprised to discover this is not carried out successfully.

Ben falls in love with Dora Darling, the star in a motion picture. He “finds” some money and starts for the studios. He is followed by the crooks, whose money he has appropriated. He is put to work in the studio as assistant property man, after giving them some of his money. Ben cannot make any progress with Dora because she and Demon Desmonde are already in love with each other. After many funny situations Ben is blown up by the crooks, but manages to escape alive; the crooks are arrested.

Musty needs a job, so when Della Connor needs a maid, a butler and a gardener, Musty is hired three times.

Musty Suffer ventures into the badlands of suburban New Jersey, where he captures a wild pantomime horse and trains him. Next he wishes to be a cab man, so his fairy godfather appears and creates a coach and uniform for Musty. After that, things get silly.

Charlie dreams he is in the stone age. There King Low-Brow rules a harem of wives. Charlie, in skins and a bowler, falls in love with the king’s favorite wife, Sum-Babee. During a hunting trip the king is pushed over a cliff. Charlie proclaims himself king, but Ku-Ku discovers the real king alive. They return to find Charlie and Sum- Babee together.

Musty Suffer is taking a nap in the middle of the road. A stranger loads him into a wheelbarrow, which breaks and sends him into a dream where he falls into the hands of Doctors Hickory and Nutt: specialists in imagination, who proceed to feed him meals which vanish, have him go to bed and wake him up a minute later, telling him he has slept twelve hours and taking him on sleigh rides on a block of ice.
