Complications arise when Henry, in love with the new music teacher, joins the band. He accidentally gets a Stradivarius that belongs to another man.

Mabel is engaged to Harry, the boss’s son. The boss has an eye for Mabel too, in this gender-bending comedy of errors and mistaken identities.

Her mother-in-law strenuously objects to her extravagance, and so wifey has to resort to subtle means to get a set of furs that strikes her fancy. She gets the furs all right, but in scheming to get them home, plays her game right into mamma-in-law’s hand. To tell more of the story would spoil the surprises pulled off in the comedy.

Musty Suffer is a bicycle messenger in this episode of the series. He takes his work very seriously, when he can be woken, and breaks into houses to deliver the goods

Robinet visits the music-hall, where he falls in love with the star attraction, singer Mimi Kratzfuss.

Edgar Kennedy, in order to attend a prizefight without his brother-in-law, pretends to be sick with intentions of sneaking off later. As usual, his best-laid plan takes another direction. His mother-in-law gives him a foot bath in a tub with what turns out to be quick-setting cement. His pal Sam drills a hole in the cement to blow the cement off with explosives, with a typical-Kennedy result… disaster.
