Oldrich Lukásek (Milos Kopecký), a respected Prague solicitor, lets him shifted for health reasons to the small town at the foot-hills. In the local advocate advice bureau impatiently awaits him his secretary Zuzana (Zlata Adamovská) and work at the penal and offense cases, sometimes odd and humorous, sometimes tragic. Experienced Lukásek soon starts orientating not only in judicial cases but also at the situation of the small town, in which, as elsewhere, exist dishonesty, flyness and pressure of the powerful by influence or money.

The father of a wilderness family gets bitten by a skunk, and fearing rabies, chains himself to a barn to protect his family should he go mad. He orders his son not to come near him no matter how persuasive or rational his appearance or argument. However, the creek dries up, indicating an upstream blockage and an imminent flood. Several trips upstream by the son have failed to locate the blockage and now Dad wants to be released.

Two men skilled in the arts of Kung-Fu are betrayed by their master and crippled for life, one left with no arms and the other with no legs. Despite their obvious disadvantages, they learn to combine their martial arts skills and seek revenge against the evil master.
